Architect house. "Sculpting Shadow and Light"
This house was the most moody, complicated, yet exhilarating project I’ve ever worked on.
Every room is a study in contrast—between materials, textures, and tones. From the matte-black cabinetry and brushed stone surfaces in the kitchen to the sculptural drama of brass lighting and curved forms in the bathroom, each space invites exploration. The bedroom plays with pattern, layering soft textiles against sharp lines and rich woodwork, creating a tension that’s both intimate and bold.
Lighting was key: we worked with natural light where possible, but relied heavily on carefully curated fixtures to add depth, drama, and mood after sunset. The dark palette didn’t intimidate—it challenged us to think creatively about warmth, reflection, and space.
Every corner demanded intention, and no detail was too small. It tested our patience, our precision, and our imagination. But in the end, this wasn’t just a home—it became a sensory experience, a modern poem in steel, stone, and shadow.
